My name is Victoria and I am an Animal Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. I was a human massage therapist for 15 years and have been an animal massage therapist and bodyworker for 8 years. I specialize in chronic pain and injuries, with a focus in structural misalignments.
Since 2010, I have helped as a Vet Assistant for Dr. Jessica Levy of Holistic Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Levy has been an amazing mentor by helping study and understand various ailments in the animal world.
I graduated with a Diploma of Massage Therapy and an AAS Degree (focusing on Massage Therapy, Kinesiology, and Biomechanics) from Minnesota School of Business. I also have been a member of the IAAMB (International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork) since 2018.
Some of the many massage and bodywork techniques that I incorporate in my sessions are:
*Myofacial Release
*Lymph Drainage
*Swedish
*Prenatal/Post Partum
*Craniosacral Therapy
*Trigger Point Therapy
*Qigong
*Red Light Therapy/Cold Laser Therapy
AND MORE!!
In 2020, I created The Balanced Orchid Techniques* to teach pet owners bodywork at home. Recently, I retired from human massage so I can focus primarily on animal clients, and I love every minute of it! Even though I’ve been a massage therapist for many years, I have been working with animals just as long. Whether working at the Animal Humane Society, a boarding facility, a vet clinic, or volunteering with various rescue groups in the Twin Cities, animals have always been a part of my life.
In my free time, I’m training my 5 year old Aussie, Levon, at AQK9 in Ramsey, MN, or enjoying a nice glass of red wine and good food with friends and family.
*The Balanced Orchid Techniques are a combination of specific modalities for ultimate health and were created through my multiples years of experience in the human and animal world
